We understood the devastating impact drought had on farming communities. Executive Chairman John George OAM, Managing Director Paul George, and Whittles Body Corporate Manager Susan Brennan presented a $50,000 donation to Rotary Australia World Community Service (RAWCS) to support their vital drought relief efforts in South Australia.
Receiving the donation on behalf of RAWCS were Wendy Gaborit OAM, Robert Cooper, and Bill Marles—representatives dedicated to helping farming families through one of the toughest seasons on record.
The funds helped deliver urgently needed hay to drought-affected farmers in the Mid North, where grain crop yields were forecast to be 93% below average. With PIRSA covering freight costs and the Farmers Relief Agency coordinating distribution, this initiative provided real, on-the-ground support. We remained committed to supporting our regional communities—not just in business, but when they needed it most.
